Could you help shape the future of North Belfast’s heritage?

Clifton House is part of the North Belfast Heritage Cluster, which is currently looking for new trustees and board members to bring their skills, experience and ideas to heritage organisations across North Belfast.

They are particularly interested in people with experience in:

  • Governance and leadership
  • Finance and business
  • Legal and compliance
  • Human resources
  • Fundraising and grant applications
  • Property, buildings, construction and maintenance
  • Heritage
  • Communications and marketing
  • Community development
  • Business or public-sector leadership

You don’t need previous trustee experience. What matters is a willingness to contribute your professional skills, give your time and help organisations protect and develop the heritage assets they care for and the communities they serve.

We are recruiting across participating organisations, including:

  • Redeemer Central*
  • Quakers*
  • Clifton House
  • Belfast Orange Hall*
  • Carnegie Oldpark Library
  • The North Club at Danube Street

*Some organisations have particular membership or community requirements. Applicants may be considered for opportunities that match their skills, interests and the eligibility requirements of the relevant organisation. Some other members of the Cluster will be recruiting for new board members next year, so successful applicants may be held in reserve for when these vacancies arise.
