INTERACTIVE TOURS

We can tailor tours to suit Key Stage 2, 3 and 4, covering a range of topics from what life was like in the Poor House for children, some of the famous people associated with the house, tracing your family history (genealogy), importance of an archive, a look at important artefacts from history, Clifton Street Cemetery and the Famine to name but a few.

Class sizes of up to 30 can be accommodated.  Each tour will last 1 – 1 ½ hours, with time for questions at the end.

School Talks

If you can’t come to us, let us come to you! We have the facility to do short talks online with your class, to perhaps bring to life some of the history topics covered in school. These talks will be no longer than 1 hour, including time for questions, and can be facilitated through Zoom or other platforms as required.
