SCHOOLS AND FAMILY VISIT

Unless specified, the content of our tours are suitable for all ages. Children must be supervised at all times. The entrance to Clifton House, and toilet facilities, are accessible by stairs. Please find out more about accessibility to our building here <link to Visitor Information> page.

Clifton House housed over xxx children when it was Belfast’s original poor house. Stories of what life was like in the poor house for children and families are woven in to our tours.

We also offer fun factsheets and other resources for families of younger children to keep them entertained on the tour.

Although we don’t have food and drink facilities on site, we are a stone through away from a wide range of eateries and coffee shops and our short tours will give you ample time to explore other destinations in North Belfast.

The entrance to Clifton House is on North Queen Street.  It is very well connected by main arterial routes coming into the city. There is a free onsite car park available for visitors.

It is also well connected by bus, including a stop on the Hop on Hop Off Belfast Sightseeing Bus.  For more information, see our Contact Us page
