OUR RESEARCH & COLLABORATION
Since Clifton House Centre opened as the social enterprise of Belfast Charitable Society we have extensively grown our knowledge about the people and events surrounding the history of the Poor House and later Old People’s Home. This research has been enhanced by working in collaboration with students, academics and other partners. This invaluable research feds into everything we do at Clifton House, from enhancing our talks, tours and exhibitions, to supporting our genealogy service and our online blogs. These valuable research projects and partnerships also allow us to raise the profile of the ongoing philanthropic work of the Belfast Charitable Society, whose home is still in Clifton House, nearly 250 years on.
Clifton House welcome approaches in relation to possible research and collaboration projects.
